Catalan Juniors Basketball Tournaments

          
           The Catalan Juniors Basketball Tournaments take place in February, at Easter, at Whitsun and in October. 
The tournament takes place if there is a minimum of 3 teams in each age group.   
              The venues used for the Catalan Juniors Basketball Tournament are the sports halls in Platja d'Aro, Calonge and Sant Antoni de Calonge.
    
           All participants receive a tournament medal and attendance certificate and all teams receive a commemorative plaque. The overall tournament winner takes home the Catalan Juniors Basketball trophy to hold until the following edition. The trophy must be returned but each winning team keeps the winner's plate from the trophy.   

           At Easter the tour takes place during the first holiday week and has a 6 day format as follows:
Sat: Arrive Resort; Sun:  Barcelona visit; Mon:  Tournament play;  Tues: FREE DAY or optional visit to Port Aventura theme park; Wed: Tournament play; Thurs: Depart Resort. The visit to Barcelona includes a tour of the world famous Camp Nou  , home to F.C. Barcelona .
          
            In February, October and at Whitsun the tournament takes place over the first holiday weekend following the format on our title page.

            Accommodation in February is usually the ApartHotel Palamos. The hotel offers 4 bedded rooms, covered swimming pool, bar, buffet restaurant, games area, internet cafe, self service laundrette and 5 lane bowling alley. Accommodation at other times of year can be the ApartHotel Sant Jordi , the  Hotel S'Agoita or the Hotel Cosmopolitan in Platja d'Aro.
