The Catalan Juniors are a series of sports tournaments organised by
SunSports Sports Tours and Tournament Services.
They are held several times each year in Catalonia, the autonomous region of Spain whose capital city, Barcelona, is probably best known in sporting circles for the 1992 Olympic games and the world famous F.C Barcelona.
The sports tournaments take place at various venues, mostly based on the Costa Brava near Girona, and at various times of year coinciding with the UK school holiday periods. For 2012 dates, click here
The sports tournaments are held for Rugby, Soccer, Netball, Hockey and Basketball with participants welcome from schools or clubs of any nation. A complete package is provided including sports tournament entry, full or half board accommodation, in-resort coach transfers and a day trip to Barcelona with a tour of FC Barcelona included. As an optional extra, teams can stay one more night and spend the day visiting the Warner Bros. theme park "Port Aventura".
